Senior Colorist
Leonardo Otero is a Senior Colorist recognized in the postproduction industry for his pioneering work in digital intermediate and color correction for cinema in Colombia. He has contributed to various television projects for FOX, Natgeo, Discovery Channel, Sony Entertainment Television, among others. His recent works include popular Colombian series like El Robo del siglo, Juanpis González and Goles en Contra, available on Netflix. Otero's talent, experience, and creative support have made him one of the most prominent colorists in Latin America, collaborating on significant cinematic projects such as Todos tus muertos, La Mujer del Animal, by renowned director Víctor Gaviria, Huachicolero, the debut film by director Edgar Nito, Lavaperros, by Colombian director Carlos Moreno, and 108 costuras, directed by Fernando Kalife, among many others. Some of his recent works include both series and films such as Ozogoche, (Ecuador), which premiered at the International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam (IDFA) in 2023. "Historia de un Crimen caso de Mauricio Leal," produced by Dynamo for Netflix and Los Calvos, a documentary premiered in 2024 at VISIONS DU REEL and BAFICI, earning the 2.35 digital award at the Guadalajara International Film Festival in 2022.
