Synopsis

Seventy-year-old José de Los Santos is in charge of funeral rituals in his village near the San Juan River. One night, his son's soul announces his own death and orders him to find the path to the origin. Amid an eternal war, José de Los Santos embarks on his journey to the jungle, trying to stay alive to reach his resting place.
