The International Light Show, Volume VIII, will take place in Bogota D.C., Colombia, from May 16 to 21, 2017. It is an event dedicated to the image, the creation with the light and the direction of cinematographic photography. He will have films in competition in the categories of feature films fiction and documentary, short fiction and documentary, publicity spot, video clip, experience in cinema, preserved film and university work, where will be exclusively awarded the area of Photography Direction. Theoretical light events will be held, with international guests, technical conferences and Show-rooms, with the latest technology in cameras, films, lights and supports for moving image. In addition, the exhibition “122 years Luz”, with the projection of some of the most important films within the history of the direction of cinematographic photography, and a homage in the 100 years of the ARRI brand (developer of some of the Major advances in cameras, lenses and lights). Postpopuli and 2.35 Digital will be present in two workshops: “filmlight filming” and “filmlight postproduction” to be dictated by our senior colorist Leonardo Otero along with Daniele Siragusano and Francisco Monje:
